Job Title: Material Engineer – Construction Works (75% Trust Score)

Job Description:
An experienced Material Engineer is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and consulting of building projects, performing laboratory tests, conducting field tests, and report preparation. The role involves working closely with project managers and project coordinators to insure construction quality as per industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise construction materials used on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct laboratory tests on soil, concrete, aggregates, and other construction materials.

Perform field tests including compaction, slump, density, and other quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) tests.

Review and verify material quality before approval for use in construction activities.
- Provide technical consultation to project managers, site engineers, and coordinators regarding material selection and quality issues.
- Coordinate with laboratories (site or external) to ensure timely testing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tests, approvals, and inspections.
- Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations
Qualifications:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology

Professional experience in laboratory testing, field testing, or geotechnical investigation.

Knowledge of different material testing and quality standards

Proficiency in relevant softwares.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
